This petroglyph rock carving dates from 3500 BC, and is carved on a granite slab in the Capo di Iseo near Breno, outside of Brescia, in Northern Italy. It is a beautiful depiction of the sacred relationship of Brother Sun and Sister Moon, or Father Sun and the Moon Maiden. As a tattoo it can celebrate Italian heritage, or a connection to the cosmic. |
