Taking as inspiration the heraldic crest on the cover of the Jethro Tull album cover "Crest for a Knave", custom elements were added and changed to create this tattoo pattern in memory of a beloved brother who died too young. The hooded crow tops the pattern, carrion bird of death, symbol of the passage of young men on the battlefield of life. |
